Paauwe (og 15)
Roberto Carlos (21)
Guti (60)
Van Hooijdonk (56)

  • 90 mins: It's back with Casillas, but no time for any more action as referee Dallas brings an end to proceedings. Real win the Super Cup at a canter

  • 90 mins: Into injury time and it's still Real enjoying the bulk of possession

  • 90 mins: Huge pass over the top from Hierro finds Raul haring towards the box. The Spain striker fires left-footed but Zoetebier gets down to save low

  • 88 mins: Now man-of-the-match Cambiasso disappears with replacement Pavon getting a chance to stretch his legs. 'Campeone, campeone,' sing the Madrid support

  • 86 mins: Zidane exits - replaced by Solari

  • 85 mins: Feyenoord's 'possession football' isn't quite so pretty. But they make a decent fist of carving out a chance for Ono, who blasts over after Kalou's square ball

  • 83 mins: Lurling bursts in from the left, looking for a return ball from Kalou but Makelele intercepts for the Spanish giants

  • 82 mins: It's 'Ole' time again as the European champions stroke it around the park. Portillo gets a sniff of a chance but Bosvelt is back to clear up

  • 79 mins: Buffel concedes a corner under pressure. Real play it short but Lurling closes down on Roberto Carlos and wins a free-kick as the Brazilian loses control

  • 76 mins: Kalou gets above Helguera to head towards goal but Casillas collects with ease

  • 74 mins: A sweet flick from Kalou, sends Ono powering past Makelele into the box. Casillas scrambles the shot wide before rising impressively to collect the corner

  • 72 mins: Van Marwijk makes his first change, bringing on Buffel for fullback Gyan

  • 70 mins: Raul escapes Paauwe's attention, but slices his shot wide. Now the youngster Portillo replaces Guti for Real.

  • 69 mins: Bosvelt barrels forward, looking for a one-two with Van Hooijdonk. Salgado gets his body in the way though and wins a freekick

  • 66 mins: It's Pierre time again as the UEFA Cup winners earn another attacking free-kick, 30 yards out. Van Hooijdionk strikes but Casillas has time to get across for the save. A bit too far out for that

  • 64 mins: Casillas can only parry a fearsome left-footed drive by Ono from just outside the 'D'. Feyenoord press on but Zidane is fouled and Real breathe again

  • 62 mins: Roberto Carlos finds space wide on the left. He cuts it back for Guti to swing left-footed - but it's high over the bar. Normal service has resumed though.

  • 60 mins: Real take umbrage at this comeback. Cambiasso and Zidane combine to free Figo on the right. Feyenoord hopelessly outnumbered at the back and Guti - unmarked at the far post - has the simplest of headers to make it 3-1

  • 58 mins: Feyenoord, urged on by their hysterical supporters, charge forward. Ono takes aim from long range, but the ball flashes across the face of goal

  • 56 mins: It's Van Hooijdonk who sends a sublime right-footer into the top corner. 2-1 and game on!

  • 55 mins: Kalou tries to go it alone, eventually managing to cross for the late arrival of Bosvelt. Zidane gives a tug on the Feyenoord skiper's shirt and it's a central freekick...

  • 53 mins: Howls of derision as Paauwe crashes in to Zidane after some rare miscontrol from the French maestro. Not the worst challenge ever witnessed on the field of play though - and no booking

  • 51 mins: More great work from Cambiasso in midfield. Raul takes it on but Figo's cross is mishit and Feyenoord scramble it behind. Corner headed clear

  • 49 mins: Lurling takes aim from long range - a powerful drive and Casillas has to get down low to gather

  • 48 mins: More pretty stuff from Cambiasso, starting the second half where he left off, but his final ball for Raul is cut out

  • 46 mins: A brave block from Helguera denies Van Hooijdonk

  • 46 mins: The teams re-emerge to the tune of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's 'Two Tribes', then Feyenoord mercifully restart the game

  • 45 mins: Madridista drums set a thunderous beat from the stands, only to be interupted by Hugh Dallas' half-time whistle. Real in total control at 2-0

  • 44 mins: Good work from Salgado earns Real a corner on the right. Hierro rises to head down but Zoetebier saves comfortably

  • 42 mins: Some kind of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' comes to an end as Bosvelt takes aim. A sharp half-volley that has Casillas scrambling, but the ball flies over the bar

  • 40 mins: The game casually drifting towards half-time but the Feyenoord fans are still in good voice, singing their Dutch brand of English football anthems.

  • 38 mins: A frustrated Raul pulls back the shirt of Rzasa. Free-kick Feyenoord, who work their way up field. Lurling bursts through some sleepy defence but rather toe-pokes his shot wide of Casillas' goal

  • 36 mins: Speculative Kalou shot is deflected for a corner. Hierro heads clear

  • 34 mins: Great flick from Van Hooijdonk puts Emerton into space on the right flank, but Kalou doesn't attack the near post for the cross and Hierro clears under no pressure

  • 32 mins: Bosvelt gets forward but can't thread it through to Kalou. Feyenoord rebuild but Lurling's hopeful shot from range is straight at Casillas

  • 31 mins: Salgado makes the tackle as Van Hooijdonk gets the ball caught at his feet

  • 29 mins: Ono does well in midfield but Kalou's ball for the overlapping Emerton is woefully short. Feyenoord looking increasingly forlorn

  • 27 mins: Now Roberto Carlos takes a defensive role, sliding in to intercept Van Hooijdonk's ball for Emerton

  • 25 mins: Zidane sneaks to the near post for the free-kick, then crosses but Gyan gets his head to it first

  • 24 mins: Real's exhibition football is brought to a shuddering halt by Lurling's crude foul on Figo. Yellow card

  • 21 mins: Cambiasso and Guti combine brilliantly to free Roberto Carlos charging into the box. A sweet, right-footed (!) curler from the Brazilian and it's 2-0

  • 19 mins: Van Hooijdonk heads down for Kalou in the box. Real half-clear but the flag is up as Ono blasts over the bar

  • 17 mins: Figo beats two before surging past Ono into the box, but can't get a decent contact on the final shot. Brilliant stuff from the Portugal star though

  • 16 mins: 'Oles' all round as the European champions stroke the ball around.

  • 15 mins: Cambiasso puts Roberto Carlos into space. The Brazilian hammers a low cross into the box where Paauwe diverts the ball into his own net. 1-0 Real

  • 13 mins: Roberto Carlos steps in to thwart Emerton as the Australian threatens to break down the Feyenoord right

  • 11 mins: Makelele barges into Rzasa - free-kick to Feyenoord in van Hooijdonk range, but the ball is blasted into the wall and away from danger

  • 9 mins: Cambiasso jinks inside to hammer a low drive which the keeper fumbles, but his defenders hack it behind. Zoetebier claims the corner

  • 7 mins: Mesmeric run from Figo, beating Lurling and Rzasa, before he stings Zoetebier's hands with a firm drive

  • 5 mins: Emerton takes after Feyenoord win a corner on the right. Kalou's header is over the bar

  • 4 mins: Zidane frees Figo to cross from the right. Gyan has to head clear under pressure. Zidane's follow-up volley is weak though

  • 3 mins: Emerton makes first impression, bursting towards the Real box, but he's quickly closed down

  • 2 mins: Zidane penalised for a foul on Rzasa in the Feyenoord box

  • 1 min: Casillas collects after Van Wonderen overhits a long ball from midfield

  • 1 Min: Real kick off the Super Cup on an atrocious looking surface in Monaco
