PSG turn to third choice keeper Gillet

PARIS, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Paris St Germain will have to rely on their third choice goalkeeper Stephane Gillet for the next few weeks after Jerome Alonzo was injured against Sedan last weekend.

Luxembourg international Gillet, who joined from German Third Division club SV Elverberg during the summer, has yet to play a First Division match for PSG.

First choice keeper Lionel Letizi is out with an Achillies tendon injury and Alonzo is sidelined for at least a month after he strained a thigh muscle during the 2-1 win at Sedan.

The 24-year-old Gillet, who has so far only played for PSG's B team in French fourth division, will make his debut against Bastia on Saturday.

Gillet began his career at Standard Liege in 1994. He moved to Spora Luxembourg for one season in 1999 before joining SV Elversberg.
