Vardar Skopje axe coach Maskov

SOFIA, April 19 (Reuters) - Macedonian first division side Vardar Skopje have sacked their coach Alekso Maskov and replaced him with Zarko Odzhakov after a run of poor results.

The three-time champions, who are second in the league two points behind Sloga Jugomagnat Skopje, have lost three of their last seven games including a 3-0 defeat by Pobeda Prilep on Sunday.

Vardar have had 13 coaches in the last five years - none of them lasting longer than 11 months.
