EMPOLI, November 2 (Serie A) - Empoli will hope to pick up their first victory of the season at their Carlo Castellani stadium tomorrow.
The newly-promoted side have surpassed expectations to figure in the upper echelons of Serie A - they currently lie seventh - but all three of their victories to date have come away from home.
And if they are to stay among the front-runners they will have to start picking up maximum points in their own stadium.
It will be far from easy tomorrow, however, when fourth-placed Lazio come to town.
Empoli coach Silvio Baldini has a near full strength squad to choose from with only Andrea Cupi (flu) and Gaetano Greco (knee) doubtful.
Goalkeeper Gianluca Berti damaged his nose in training but he is expected to be available for selection while there will be a reunion between Empoli full-back Alessandro Agostini and Lazio coach Roberto Mancini.
The pair were together at Fiorentina and Agostini is aware of Mancini's strengths, but he remains hopeful of securing the three points.
``He is a very well prepared coach but with our speed we will cause problems for Lazio's defence,'' Agostini said.
Lazio arrive on the back of UEFA Cup success in midweek, thanks to a 1-0 victory against Red Star Belgrade.
Stefano Fiore's 10th-minute goal gave them an advantage to take back to Yugoslavia and Mancini will be looking for more of the same tomorrow.
He does, though, have doubts over the fitness of Holland international defender Jaap Stam and Italy striker Enrico Chiesa.
Stam, the former Manchester United star, has a bruised left knee while Chiesa is struggling to overcome a bout of flu.
Despite their supposed superior standing within the Italian game, Lazio have failed to win at Empoli in three visits.
Empoli won the first two meetings before the latest, in 1999, ended in a goalless draw.
