Was Aston Villa's youth team keeper and made numerous appearances for England Schoolboys and England Youth teams after coming through the FA School of Excellence at Lilleshall.
The youngster was given a squad number for the 2000/01 season at Villa Park and his aim was to increase his appearances in the reserves.
But the Villa management obviously felt he was not up to the task and released him from his contract in December 2000. He then joined Third Division Lincoln City on a short-term contract.
Played only twice for the Imps before being released. He joined Conference strugglers Forest Green Rovers in March 2001.
