The Ukrainian international has yet to play for Spurs this season, although he is in his country's squad for Saturday's Euro 2004 home qualifier against Greece and the away tie against Northern Ireland four days later.
Rebrov was Spurs' record signing when he moved to north London from Dynamo Kiev in an £11million in May 2000. But current boss Glenn Hoddle clearly does not see Rebrov in his long term plans as he moved to sign Robbie Keane from Leeds United before the transfer deadline in August.
That pushed the 27-year-old further down the pecking order, and today he was quoted by local media as saying: 'I'm ready to play for Spartak. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play for the most successful Russian club, but let's wait until January.'
Rebrov has criticised Hoddle, the former England boss, for not giving him enough first-team opportunities.
Earlier this year, Dynamo Kiev coach Alexei Mikhailichenko denied reports that the Ukrainian club wanted to buy out Rebrov's contract.
