Terry Venables will make youngster Paul Robinson his first choice keeper, but insisted England international Nigel Martyn is not leaving Elland Road.

Paul Robinson is set to assume the role of Leeds' number one goalkeeper
tomorrow - but Venables wants to keep ousted veteran Martyn.
Venables has opted for 22-year-old Robinson as his first-choice
number one after a series of impressive pre-season performances in Australia.
Martyn, who missed the trip Down Under, has been linked with a £2million move
to Southampton but it is believed the player's wage demands will scupper Saints'
bid.
Venables insists he has no knowledge of any approach from Gordon Strachan and
has told Martyn to get on with the job of battling to regain his place.
Venables said: `No goalkeeper is going anywhere. They are going to have to
fight it out between the two of them and they are both staying here.
``You can never keep anybody happy who is out of the team but they're all
professional players and they've got to get on with it.
`There is a lot of competition around the world and with the Bosman ruling I
think players will find it very hard to get new clubs.
`So if they're at a big club I think players should appreciate that, do their
best and if they're not in there they should be prepared to be called on at any
time.'
Robinson performed heroics during Leeds' European campaign two years ago when
Martyn was out injured and was frustrated when he dropped back into the
reserves.
Venables has acted swiftly after being faced with the mounting prospect of
losing the youngster if he kept 36-year-old Martyn as first choice.
But he insisted being the number two at a club like Leeds need not spell the
end of a career either with club or country.
`Our goalkeepers might be two of the top three and it is all a matter of
opinion. I believe that it's possible that if he (Sven-Goran Eriksson) really
likes someone, whichever one's not playing he might think is still good enough
to play for England.'
Dominic Matteo's recovery from a knee injury which kept him in light training
for most of the week has averted a central defensive crisis with his partner
Jonathan Woodgate out with a gashed shin.
Matteo has assumed the captain's armband in place of the departed Rio
Ferdinand and Venables said: `Dominic's a terrific professional and the sort of
guy you feel would be ideal as a captain.
`I thought that and I haven't changed my mind since I've been here. I want as
many of those types in the club as possible - people who care about the football
club first and foremost and make sure that they focus on keeping fit and winning
football matches.'
Nick Barmby is set for his Leeds debut, possibly in place of midfielder
Olivier Dacourt, but the other new boy Paul Okon is still not match-fit.
Mark Viduka has recovered from an Achilles injury he sustained in the
pre-season clash with Rangers and is set to start.
Meanwhile Venables could be rewarded with a long-term deal if his first
campaign in charge is a successful one.
The former England boss has signed a two-year contract but that is likely to
be extended as early as next summer if some silverware is in the bag.
Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale told the club's website: `The plan is to sit down
next summer and, if we are happy with Terry and he is happy with us, we will put
another two-year deal on the table.'
