Spurs' pre-season injury worries were lessened when Slovenian star Milenko Acimovic made a surprisingly quick recovery from a hamstring problem to be fit to face Celtic on Wednesday.

And Spurs boss Glenn Hoddle, who has four centre backs out, said he was relieved that Acimovic is not joining fellow midfielder Gus Poyet, who is out until November with a knee injury, on the long-term injury list..
Acimovic, a summer signing from Red Star Belgrade, sustained the injury
in last week's 4-0 victory at Crystal Palace.
Hoddle, who admitted he felt `horrible' before the weekend as Spurs'
injuries mounted, breathed a sigh of relief as he prepared for the clash with
the Scottish champions and Saturday's home date with Italian giants Lazio.
He said: `Milenko's hamstring is not torn - it's what they call a grade one
strain.
`He says he should be okay by Wednesday, and if not definitely by the
weekend.
`After the news on Gus, this is good news and a little bit of light at the end
of the tunnel.'
Even so Hoddle faces a nervous 48 hours before the meeting with Celtic while
Ben Thatcher's groin injury is assessed.
The defender was injured in Saturday's 1-0 win at Watford and joins fellow
centre-backs Dean Richards (concussion), Ledley King (hip) and Anthony Gardner
(chest infection) in the treatment room.
Hoddle added on the club's official website: `We've got four
centre-halves out, all-in-all.
`Ben pulled his groin. He slipped in the first half, and we'll have to seehow
it is over the next couple of days.
`With the three other lads out, it's going to be difficult for us in the next
couple of games. What hurts us is the four players out in one area.
`You have to have these matches - but to keep picking injuries in one
position is hurting us.'
