Reds duo arrive at Plainmoor

Torquay United coach Leroy Rosenior has confirmed the arrival of teenage trialists Brian McIlroy and David Chambers from Liverpool.

McIlroy is a striker while Chambers can play on the right and Rosenior admits he will be assessing them this week.

He said: 'They arrived over the weekend and will be joining in with the rest of the lads this week.'

The pair could get a run out in Torquay's first friendly against First Division Portsmouth at Plainmoor on Saturday.
