Wycombe boss Lawrie Sanchez is poised to add Gavin Holligan to the Chairboys' squad pending the results of a medical.The 20-year-old is set to sign a one-year contract with Sanchez's side.
The striker was released by West Ham in the summer.
Wycombe spokesman, Alan Hutchinson said: "He's been here on trial a couple of weeks and scored two goals in his first game against Crawley.
"The injuries we've got with forwards Sean Devine and Andrew Baird mean he is likely to get a lot of first-team opportunities playing alongside Jermaine McSporran and Andy Rammell."
