Dudek: Deal faltering (TomShaw/Allsport) |
Highbury boss Arsene Wenger and vice-chairman David Dein are growing frustrated at the Rotterdam club's refusal to lower their £10million valuation.
Arsenal believed their £6.5m bid for the 28-year-old would be enough to clinch a sale. But Feyenoord are holding out for what the Gunners feel is a vastly inflated price and that brinkmanship could backfire.
Sources in Turin confirmed last night that Arsenal had registered their interest in 30-year-old Van der Sar. Juventus would want around £6.5m - the exact price Arsenal are willing to pay for Dudek - for the Holland goalkeeper.
Wolves confirmed that they are keen to sign Palace striker Clinton Morrison but denied Selhurst Park claims that a bid of £3mhad been rejected.
